My name is Christina Sever. I am originally from Simpsonville, South Carolina (Greenville County). I received my Bachelors of Science degree from Clemson University with a minor in Horticulture in 2015, I taught in Chesterfield County, SC for 2 years before making the move to Georgia. I will begin my Masters of Science degree in Youth Development Leadership through Clemson University this fall, 2017.

I became involved with agriculture at a very young age through a love of horses. I always had the desire to be outdoors, in the woods, and "at-one" with nature. In the 9th grade, my love of natural resources and environmental science began through an elective class I took at the charter school I attended. At the beginning of my Junior year of high school I transferred to public school, where I enroled in Agricultural Education classes and became active in their FFA chapter. I fell in love with all of it, and decided to dedicate my life to the education of Horticulture and Landscape Design as a side-skill, and even a career option, to high school students.
