Hi! My name is Courtney Johnson. I am a health/physical education teacher here at Jackson and have been a part of this wonderful family for 2 years. I recently got married in June of this year (2016) and am the proud wife of Mr. Marion Johnson. My husband is currently completing his Master's degree in chemistry at North Carolina A&T University but has permanently joined me in our Henry Co. residence. We currently do not have any children but are expecting our first in October of this year (2016).

To speak more about myself, I am a native of Hephzibah, Ga, a small town just south of Augusta, GA, where I grew up with my twin brother (Corey) and loving mother (Louise). I graduated from Hephzibah High School (2009) and continued my education at Armstrong State University as an undergraduate of the Bachelor of Health Science degree program. After graduating from Armstrong (2013), I decided to take a step further in my educational journey and enrolled in Georgia College & State University's Masters of Arts in Teaching program the following spring (graduated in December of 2014).

In January of 2015, I was offered the chance to work at this wonderful institution...Jackson High School. There was not a second thought in my mind about joining our beloved Red Devil Nation! Along with my obligations and duties as a teacher, I am also the head women's basketball coach. I look forward to a great year here at Jackson and welcome you into our school with open arms!!
