I graduated with a degree in French and American Literature in 1995 from the University of Kentucky.  I completed my teaching certification classes at Georgia State University. I have traveled to France several times and had the opportunity to do a study abroad in Tours, France. I have a add-on to my certificate for teaching ESL and cultural coaching.

I taught French in Clayton County for seven years and I am embarking on my ninth year with Butts County teaching French.  I have taught multiple levels of French throughout my teaching career.  While I usually teach levels one and two, I have had the chance to teach level three when student interest and scheduling allow.

I am entering my sixteenth year of teaching.  I have taught French 1, 2, and 3.  I have had the chance to take students to Europe on two separate trips. Including those trips, I have been to France 4 times, including a month long study abroad stay.

I am also the co-sponsor for the Jackson chapter of the National Beta Club.  I work with the Georgia Scholar Program to identify students who meet the requirements to be a Georiga Scholar as well as those students who are eligible to be Presidential Scholars.
