What is Key Club?

Key Club is a student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.

Club Reminders:

Please sign up for Key Club reminders with Remind101.  Text the message: kclubjhs to the number 81010.

Club Dues:

Dues are $20 per year.  This cost pays goes to pay each member's district and national dues.  This also includes a very small amount to go towards club functions such as our end of year celebration.

Service Opportunities:

Students participate in community service events serving their school and community.   Students should complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service per year to remain in good standing.  15 of these hours must be Key Club sponsored activities and the other 5 hours can be service activities done individually or through another organization.

Students earn 1 point per service hour.  If a student remains an active member, is in good standing, and earns 50 points prior to graduation, the student will be awarded a medallion to wear at graduation.  This medallion will be in recognition of their dedication to serving their school and community.

Transportation:

Key Club participates in a variety of service activities.  It is optional as to which activities students participate in.  For this reason, transportation to these activities is not provided by the school or faculty advisor.  It is the parent's responsibility to provide transportation to and from all events.

Six Flags Training Conference:

More information will be forth coming.  If you are interested, please talk with either Ms Brannon or Ms Stewart.
